Trans Lifeline grants helping cover legal name change, ID document update, and other costs. Relevant for parents of trans youth navigating school, medical, and legal systems together. Peer support groups are usually free, meet weekly or biweekly, and welcome anyone questioning or out. Informed-consent models are now widely accepted by WPATH; you don't need a therapist's letter at most clinics. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
