Federal initiative supporting LGBTQ+ older adult research and programs. A starting point for adult children of LGBTQ+ parents needing eldercare resources sensitive to their parents' history. Caregiver support is built into most LGBTQ+ elder programs — partner-led care is acknowledged and supported. LGBTQ+ elders are twice as likely to age alone as their straight peers — community programs counter that isolation. Free service; donations support but never gate access.
