Working to elect LGBTQ+ leaders to public office at all levels. Relevant for parents and allies who want to volunteer or get educated to better support LGBTQ+ people in their life. Mental health and case-management referrals come from most centers, often with internal counselors on staff. Many run identity-specific groups (Black queer men, Latinx lesbians, trans masc, bi+, ace) that don't exist anywhere else nearby. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
