BTAC — national advocacy and resources for Black trans people. For trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people of any age, plus their families and allies. Peer support groups are usually free, meet weekly or biweekly, and welcome anyone questioning or out. Federal passport gender X marker has been available since 2022 — application is the standard DS-11. Open at no cost to LGBTQ+ North Carolina residents and the people supporting them.
