CLASP research on policies affecting LGBTQ+ homelessness and housing. For LGBTQ+ youth kicked out by family, adults fleeing domestic violence, and elders facing housing discrimination. Most LGBTQ+ shelters accept walk-ins for intake; bring ID and any medications. LGBTQ+ youth represent 40% of homeless youth despite being 7% of the general youth population. Open at no cost to LGBTQ+ New Mexico residents and the people supporting them.
