LGBTQ+ Aging Project (Fenway)

Boston-based program of Fenway Health expanded nationally to support LGBTQ+ older adults and providers. A starting point for adult children of LGBTQ+ parents needing eldercare resources sensitive to their parents' history. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. LGBTQ+ elders are twice as likely to age alone as their straight peers — community programs counter that isolation. Free, confidential, and open to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community.
