OLOC — empowering and supporting old lesbians nationally. A starting point for adult children of LGBTQ+ parents needing eldercare resources sensitive to their parents' history. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. Medicare and Medicaid cover gender-affirming care for elders in most states — including for people just starting transition late in life. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
