LGBTQ+ Aging Project (Fenway)

Boston-based program of Fenway Health expanded nationally to support LGBTQ+ older adults and providers. For LGBTQ+ adults 50+ navigating aging, retirement, healthcare, housing, or end-of-life planning. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. Open at no cost to LGBTQ+ Missouri residents and the people supporting them.
