Useful for gay and bi men, trans women, sex workers, people who inject drugs, and anyone in a serodifferent relationship. Most testing is free, confidential, and rapid (20 min for results) at community-based organizations. HIV is now a manageable chronic condition with near-normal life expectancy on consistent treatment. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
