OLOC — empowering and supporting old lesbians nationally. Useful for elders whose biological family is estranged and who need chosen-family-aware support systems. Caregiver support is built into most LGBTQ+ elder programs — partner-led care is acknowledged and supported. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. All services free of charge to LGBTQ+ Idaho residents and allies.
