Boston-based program of Fenway Health expanded nationally to support LGBTQ+ older adults and providers. Useful for elders whose biological family is estranged and who need chosen-family-aware support systems. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. LGBTQ+ elders are twice as likely to age alone as their straight peers — community programs counter that isolation. Free, confidential, and open to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community.
