AARP's LGBTQ+ aging resources, advocacy, and community. A starting point for adult children of LGBTQ+ parents needing eldercare resources sensitive to their parents' history. Many LGBTQ+ senior centers offer programs, meals, and peer companionship — often free with suggested donation. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. All services free of charge to LGBTQ+ Arizona residents and allies.
